Due to continued growth and expansion, we now have an excellent opportunity available for a “Team Leader - Project Management” in Soeborg, Denmark to join our evolving international organization. As "Team Leader - Project Management", you will lead and direct large and complex projects which require management of considerable, multi-site, resources with high level functional integration. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the project from early participation in sales phases through award and subsequent execution and closure of projects that are technical in their nature. You apply your experience in coordinating effectively the activities of a team of multi-disciplined engineers, equipment suppliers and service providers. In your role as Team Leader you ensure the scope is effectively managed, as required in accordance with stakeholders/sponsor’s contractual agreement and internal business processes. You also ensure a proper and effective financial control of the projects to meet SPX financial control requirements, project deliverables and budget. You will be responsible for the daily leadership of 5-8 project managers, you organize and manage Project reviews and would be responsible for the budget in the complete project portfolio including monthly forecasts. Finally, you apply your effective planning skills and control of qualitative and quantitative risks to minimize any adverse impact on project costs and deliverables. Skills and Qualifications Educated to Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent; and minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Professional project management qualification is desirable but not essential Extensive and proven project and/or implementation management experience across Engineering, Procurement and Construction / Commissioning Experience of the food processing, chemical, Oil & Gas or pharmaceutical industry is desirable but not essential Proven experience as a Team Leader Experience working with remote teams is highly desirable Experience working on international projects is desirable Proven experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) is an advantage Be able to handle multiple tasks effectively whilst maintaining clear vision of priorities Able to communicate effectively Good verbal and written English communication skills How to apply If you are open to pursuing this exciting new opportunity, please apply directly online or send us your CV in English via email to: sabrina.wagner (at) spx.com.
