For our Blade Factory in Aalborg we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong LEAN skills to maintain and further develop our LEAN strategy and to lead continuous improvement tasks in the production to optimize the supply chain and furthermore, to act as LEAN support for the production management in Aalborg. What are my responsibilities? · Set up tact board meetings for production teams and track downtime causes and ensure “root causes” are communicated to production teams and management · Implementation of Root cause tools and methodologies · Realization of Cost out actions and meetings · Create and update Standard Work Sheets for packing and service functions · Kaizen Events on potential improvement areas of the production · Follow up on downtime causes and implementation actions · Ensure information is disseminated between shifts What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering · You have profound knowledge of and preferably experience with LEAN methodologies · Experience in the wind energy business will be seen as an advantage · You are both process and people oriented and you have an analytical and structured mindset as well as a result and quality oriented approach to your work · You are outgoing and have strong communication skills and you are able to communicate at all organizational levels · You are an experienced user of MS Office · You have strong communication skills in both Danish and English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
