For our Industrial Engineering department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer. The department has the technical responsibility for a production area and for improving and implement manufacturability of products in the production. The department has a key role in terms of support and development and has a huge influence on the output of the production areas. We are a dedicated team of employees of various age and backgrounds. What are my responsibilities? · Solve day to day problems (including ensuring technical support for the Development department) · Initiate analyses and root-cause investigations on quality problems, performance measures and deviating targets · Identify improvement potentials and define project portfolios and generate business cases · Implement production improvement initiatives and projects and define the criticality of changes · Review and ensure evaluation of product and process changes o Work instructions and Bill of Materials (BOM) o Production shop floor meetings o ECN screening and participate in implementation board o Lead test assemblies · Ensure updated technical production baseline o Updated P-FMEA o Updated layout of production What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical or mechanical background, preferably with an engineering degree within Manufacturing-, System- or Machinery Technology · You have great project management skills · You have knowledge of quality tools and LEAN principles and experience with Six Sigma · You are fluent in Danish as well as English, both orally and in writing · You have a holistic approach to your work as well as a general business understanding In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
