To put it short: Vestas Technology & Service Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. The Control & Auxiliary department is responsible for safety- and control layout on all Vestas turbines. The department is also responsible for delivering auxiliary power to the entire turbine. Responsibilities: Your tasks can vary from complex development of new systems and concepts to implementation of improvements of existing products, as well as test and validation of solutions and products. Your primary tasks will be: Update of existing auxiliary power-, safety- or control systems as well as designing new solutions Selection of the right technical design and concept as well as selection of critical main components Define and perform test and validation of design functionality and components Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to interfacing systems in order to optimize product design Responsible for the work is documented according to the Vestas Way to Market process Design and develop the technical solution within scope of a project Qualifications: You have an academic background as engineer within electrical area or a professional background as electrician or similar combined with further education Experienced in designing and construction of electrical systems for automation and machines Experienced with MW range power cabinets and wind turbines Experience in Test and Troubleshooting of electrical system on machinery Experience in integration between software and hardware on industrial PLC or similar Experience and knowledge of safety and design standards Competencies: You are aware of the impact your technical decisions will have on the product throughout its lifetime Knowledge of standards relevant for Automation and Machine constructions like, Machinery directory, EN60204-1 and ISO13849 Process oriented and structured in the way you work You have a proactive mindset Open-minded, credible, ambitious, communicative, self-motivated Good oral and written communication skills in English What we offer: You will face a challenging workday where you will be a part of various projects.
