Ramboll is looking for a Director to be responsible for driving the development of Ramboll Group IT strategies in close collaboration with IT leadership and senior business stakeholders. You will be reporting to the Head of Group IT.

With a strong business-oriented, forward-thinking mindset, your main responsibility will be to develop Ramboll Group IT strategies, working closely with the Head of Group IT. You will drive the strategy work in close collaboration with the IT leadership team and senior business stakeholders. You will also work closely with the Ramboll IT governance and strengthen the interaction between the IT organization and the business leadership, ensuring that the IT strategies support the Ramboll strategic agendas.
Based on this, we expect you to:
- Develop the IT strategies for Ramboll Group
- Drive the IT governance work, ensuring alignment of IT strategies to Group business strategies and getting senior business stakeholder buy in
- Drive translation of strategies into delivery road maps
- Support the Head of Group IT in steering IT investment and cost levels across the Group
- Supporting the Head of Group IT in driving alignment and standardisation of Software and Tools across the Group
- Developing strategies for the development of the Group IT organisation
About you
You are a passionate about Ramboll’s digital future, highly skilled in strategic IT, and have a global and collaborative mindset, enabling you to develop, implement and drive IT strategies for the whole Group.
You are a value creator with strong strategic and people leadership capabilities, as well as strong business acumen.
You have a proven, successful track record leading IT strategy work, as well as leading IT development and deploying IT systems and services. Knowledge and understanding of local business requirements and the ability to work in a matrix organisation is a key requirement to be successful in this role.
You are an inspiring leader with solid execution powers and can document the successful implementation of IT strategies.
You have strong international and cultural awareness and can consistently lead by example while acting with integrity, impartiality and independence, and applying sound personal judgment in all interactions.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience working with management in global IT organisations, at least 5 years’ experience as line manager
- In-depth knowledge of IT strategy work, including development strategies, operations strategies and topics such as architecture, infrastructure and security
- Experience in leading and developing the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
- Proven ability in identifying, comparing, selecting and implementing technology solutions that meet current and future needs
- Master of complex project management
- Deep understanding of digital development
Education: Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
