Are you an experienced supply chain professional with great networking and people management skills, and can you drive and implement effective supply chain strategies? This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of a large organization, working with all aspects of Supply Chain in a global environment with multiple stakeholders. Join a global team Heading a team of consultants you will collaborate closely with the Work Function management team as well as supply chain leaders and cross-functional stakeholders such as Procurement colleagues with the overall aim of balancing regional and global requirements. Also you will be part of the global Supply Chain leadership team covering all Power Solutions core divisions. You will be based in Nordborg, Denmark and have 30-40 travel days per year to our sites in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Define and execute supply chain strategies and processes You will take on a key role as you further develop and execute the supply chain strategy for the division. This entails driving supply chain strategies and processes, cross functions involving customer service, demand planning and production. Key tasks include: •Direct sales and operations planning processes, working with management, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement etc. to align processes •Execute and follow-up on supply-chain related KPI’s such as on-time delivery and inventory metrics •Drive improvement activities within exception handling on variations to supply chain targets •Further develop interface processes between Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, procurement and other functions •Transport and logistics (cooperation with global freight management) •Lead own team as well as the divisional global supply chain team on all issues involving supply chain support Experienced supply chain professional with a global mindset •You hold a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar •At least 5 years of experience within supply chain and manufacturing environments •Ability to translate solutions into effective plans and actions •People management experience •Experience with SAP and other data analysis tools essential As a person, you have great communication and networking skills, as you influence and drive change at all levels of the organization across multiple cultures and geographies. At the same time, you thrive on analyzing trends, identifying effective strategies and actions based on statistical analysis. Finally, you are structured, proactive and self-motivated as you define challenges and solve problems. The position will report to Vice President Business Development & Operations, Work function Division with a dotted-line reporting to the Vice President Global Supply Chain.
