The offer

As a member of a high performing development team, you will be a key actor of our agile cross-functional team of talented and very skilled people, working closely with the business teams in Markets. You will be working at our Nordea office in Copenhagen where you will be participating in deliveries supporting derivatives trading on the trading floor. Within Wholesale Banking, you will be part of a team which is responsible for supporting and delivering new risk calculation system for our traders, based in a Cloud and Grid (HPC) architecture, including some of the state of the art technologies.  The team consist approx. 20 employees who is all within IT development   Our aim is to create highly scalable and dynamic systems allowing our partners in the trading area to react with speed on new business opportunities and on demands from new regulation.    

You will need good interpersonal skills as well good technical knowledge to be able to communicate technical issues in an accurate manner to colleagues and business alike. This role does expect some out of hours work

We imagine that you can meet the following qualifications:   

  • Goal oriented with a proven track record of meeting goals and deliveries.  
  • Self-starting person able to navigate through the processes of a big organization 
  • Good knowledge and experience with Docker and Openshift. 
  • Automation is a key factor and should be a natural part of your mindset 
  • Experience automating tasks with Ansible 
  • Hands on experience with MQ management (Preferably with RabbitMQ) 
  • Good knowledge of the Atlassian stack  
  • Linux scripting experience, installing new software and automation that different tasks. 
  • Understanding of software development principles 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Confidence reading and understanding Java, Python and MS VC (C++) 

 Advantageous qualifications:   

  • Experience administering Windows servers (2008, 2012).  
  • Experience with MongoDB 
  • Experience SQL (Oracle, MS SQL) 
  • Experience with Oracle Coherence. 
  • Experience with agile development 
  • Science or engineering educational background  
  • Knowledge and experience with risk and/or trading systems.
