The Customer Service Project Execution department located in Valby, Denmark executes retrofits and modernization projects in cement plants in EMENA. To support these activities we are looking for a Project Manager Mechanical. Detailed Description As our new Project Manager Mechanical your objective is to coordinate successful layout work in our projects working closely together with our Project Managers and drawing on the global FLSmidth organisation, furthermore you will be working together with our Sales Department preparing proposals for our customers. You will enter into cooperation with our customers and colleagues, turning visions and contracts into implemented improvements in our customer’s plants. Our solutions are tailored to support the customers in the best possible way. You can look forward to a position where few projects are the same, and your work will have an impact on our business unit and customers globally. You will report to the Department Manager of the Project Execution department and can anticipate 30 to 60 travel days a year. Job Requirements Industrial experience and solid project management skills You have a relevant degree (e.g. within engineering, business or similar) combined with more than 5 years’ experience from the cement business. From your employments you have gained insight into the FLSmidth organisation, systems and technology. You are highly organized and a have motivational spirit who is able to make your colleagues work for the joint objectives. Due to your comprehensive overview and focus on results, you can juggle various simultaneous activities and still deliver on time. You have a collaborative and flexible attitude enabling you to constructively work with stakeholders of various cultures and backgrounds. Finally, you have solid communication skills, and preferably you master yet another foreign language besides English.
