Dedicated Team Leader to manage Novo Nordisk Travel Department

If so, we offer a job with the responsibility to manage travel processes and impact the design of the global travel value chain.

  

About the department

The travel team is based in Corporate Procurement in Denmark. The team is responsible for the operation of the indirect spend related for Travel in Novo Nordisk and defining, supporting and driving the Global Procurement strategy.

Corporate Procurement consists of approximately 140 employees based in Denmark. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk. 

 

The position

 

In this position you will manage a team of 11 employees who are responsible for the operation of travel related activities. Further, you will engage in dialogue with the sourcing organisation within our global procurement organisation to drive compliance to corporate agreements. You will take part in managing the total travel spend and be expected to drive knowledge sharing and best practice insights both internally and externally.

 

As a Team Leader in our global organisation you will be a key driver for global standardisation and our effort to ensure world class performance. Outstanding customer service, high efficiency & effectiveness as well as a strong collaboration and constant innovation are expected deliverables.

 

Qualifications

 

Master degree in business administration, finance, supply chain or similar is required for this role. A minimum 2 years of relevant management/leadership experience is expected. You should have proven process optimisation experience along with cross functional leadership skills and proven ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
