Do you have the skills and expertise to be a key player in root cause investigation on Novo Nordisks medical devices, coaching and challenging our in-house production and external suppliers on a daily basis? Can you facilitate problem solving on professional level, driving the handling of complaints from initial contact to the implementation of corrective and preventive measures in the production line?

 

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to be part of Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) Quality Support in Hillerød. The position is temporary (24 months)

 

About the department

Quality Support is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød. Here, 14 Quality Engineers handle customer complaints and deviations for all Novo Nordisk prefilled devices. We review and challenge root cause investigation and drive a continuous development of this competence in-house and at our outsourcing partners. The job

In close dialogue with Quality Assurance (QA), Process Experts, Device Manufacturing Development and R&D you will be handling device issues from they are received in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) till the cases are concluded by QA. Your role will be to facilitate systematic problem solving and to handle the deviations in collaboration with dedicated colleagues across a truly global organisation.

 

You will be putting your academic skills to good use in an ambitious and at times quite hectic environment, where you are expected get the right people involved to reach the best solutions. The main purpose is to safeguard patient safety and improve product quality by ensuring a high quality root cause investigation and the right corrective actions. You will be collaborating closely with key stakeholders and you will sometimes have to help or convince other departments to improve their processes.

 

Your job area will be within the fields of advanced injection moulding and assembly for medical devices. Our suppliers are located in Scandinavia, Europe, USA and Brazil. You can expect to be travelling about 5-10 days a year, building relations and expanding your knowledge in a complex and challenging business environment. Qualifications

You are an Engineer, Pharmacist or hold another degree within the natural sciences. In addition, you have skills within project and quality work, including GMP. This background has given you a broad and comprehensive insight into working across boundaries and understanding of compliance in a broader sense.

 

You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience within an industrial enterprise. If you have experience with systematic problem solving, injection moulding, or assembly, it will definitely be a plus. Either way, you are used to working with ISO13485, cGMP and Lean, and you master English on an intermediate communication level.
