We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This position will work closely with the product and core teams, being overall responsible for ensuring the correct data foundation for the MobilePay DWH and Analytics platform. The perfect candidate has a brilliant understanding of data models in a distributed data architecture. You are looking for an opportunity to drive and enable a data-driven decisions capability, both from a data and a platform point of view.

We expect you to
• Have a few years of experience as a data engineer in a company like MobilePay.
• Be experienced in SQL, Cassandra data storage technologies
• Having worked with distributed data architectures and understand Domain Driven Design
• Be on top of .NET C#, including .NET Core
• Be a good communicator
• Love interacting with others, while working independently
We would like you to
• Be the primary and go-to person in MobilePay Engineering for all data perspectives relating to reporting and analytics.
• Be the link between the Data Scientists and Management reporting team to ensure that high quality data is available for analytics and reporting purposes
• Take responsibility for the analytics journey, and together with data scientists and other stakeholders ensure the needed capabilities are established.
• Work with selected vendors to establish the needed capabilities
• Help out the product and core teams to integrate to the DWH and Analytics platform
• Ensure a high quality documentation framework and data governance process
