Join a key player in the cement and minerals industries

At FLSmidth, we work to provide the cement and minerals industries with innovative know-how and technology. This includes products both locally implemented on the plants as well as on the cloud platform. 

In Group Digital in our HQ in Copenhagen, we also develop innovative apps and technology to give both ourselves and our customers an edge within the cement and minerals industries Joining us here, you will be surrounded by engineers, line managers and other industry professionals, working to bring the most relevant products to our clients worldwide.

 

Drive the development of apps

Focusing on the products implemented in our cloud environment, your will partake in our mission to ensure a competitive portfolio of apps. This includes our new MyPlant app based on our big data platform. Specifically, you will: 

• Gather and translate global insight to understand market trends, internal needs and customer requirements – travelling up to 90 days per year to gather insights first hand
• Define and execute strategies for profitability, app development and go-to-market approach in close collaboration with R&D/Engineering and Sales
• Participate in concept development and provide your recommendations to R&D
• Integrate digital apps into our customer portal to ensure easy access for colleagues and customers alike
• Develop a user adoption strategy to drive the digital transformation within the organisation

 

“You will be the one to gather vital market insights and bring them to R&D. You will even be involved in the concept development and other R&D processes, so this is a position where you can truly bring your own ideas to the table and function as a key market insight expert,” says Director of Digital R&D Bodil Recke.

 

Portfolio management talent and a knack for insights

We are aiming to be a front runner in Industry 4.0, and you will be an important player in the team to lead our mission. So whether you are a recent graduate or highly experienced, it is important that you have the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of and further develop your own product portfolio. 

You also have the skills to build the necessary mandate to influence our business units and our customers and obtain the right developer resources. 

In other words, you are skilled in:

• Portfolio management, preferably with good knowledge of app development in cloud/big data – a background in product management would also be a great advantage
• Communication and stakeholder management across divisions, levels and borders – and you speak and write English fluently
