Provide world class cost calculations Joining the Value Chain Innovation (VCI) & Costing Finance team, you will work with the costing area along with 2 experienced colleagues. Here, your primary focus is to conduct full cost calculations for each of our LEGO Elements, including both direct and indirect costs. Your calculations will be used both to make sure that we live up to our estimates and for setting the cost framework in new product development. In particular, you: Calculate full manufacturing costs for all LEGO Boxes, a process which is conducted once a year Perform daily calculation processes and check the systems for any flaws, which is highly important as production cannot commence without prices on elements and boxes Perform ad hoc tasks in relation to product costing, i.e. calculating whether it is more cost effective to produce certain elements internally or externally Prepare Handshakes, where the price on element level is signed off with key stakeholders in Production and Product & Marketing Development Quality in calculations and controlling Working in the LEGO Group is about working with others to build something you really care about. As part of the VCI & Costing Finance team, you are trusted to make decisions, do what is right and get things done at the highest possible quality. A good communicator with interest in building expertise in the costing field To begin with, you will be challenged on your ability to understand how the LEGO Group works, our full value chain and what goes into product development, design and manufacturing - and then convert this knowledge into a costing calculation. In addition, it is key that you truly want to become a specialist.
