Then apply for the job as Control Engineer at Danfoss. You will be part of Power Electronics, Research & Development where we are working with the latest tools and knowledge within model based design, including auto code generation. We are working closely together with our software developers and application support, as well as contributing to optimizing our existing product portfolio and developing new products. In other words, we are involved whenever there is an optimization potential to be realized. We are 12 employees in the department with profiles such as PhD’s, and MSc’s. A challenging job awaits you in an international environment, where you will develop yourself technically as well as personally. Product development, improvement and maintenance Your overall mission will be to participate in and contribute to various product development projects and to ensure that our products have a solid, robust design and a high level of quality throughout the entire product life span by optimizing control strategies in new and existing products. You will contribute to both the progress of the technical work and development projects, and develop new topologies based on models, simulations and measurements. The position entails some travelling, approximately 15 days per year. Electronic Engineer with control experience You hold a MSc in electronic engineering or alike, and you have advanced knowledge within induction-, PM- and other motor types. You have experience with developing control of motor drives and have documented knowledge and experience in Mathwork/Simulink that is our primary development tool. You thrive on solving technical problems both independently and together in a team. You possess a holistic overview and even under pressure you still manage to work on several fronts in a persistent and goal-oriented manner. You are open minded and good at interacting with others, and you enjoy cooperating across borders and cultures. Furthermore, you communicate well in English.
