The department
You will join our Marketing department, consisting of 30 creative and skilled colleagues. More specifically, you will form part of an ambitious and dynamic team of 3, focused on creating outstanding content – both image and text. To us, collaboration is key, and we always use each other to bounce off ideas. We are committed to developing the best e-commerce platform in the industry, and are driven by results.  

The job
As a copywriter, you are responsible for composing product abstractJV_descriptions for our online sales channels – both B2B and B2C. You create distinctive copy that conveys the product information in a compelling and inspiring way, and ultimately drives sales. You set the new communication standards, develop copy style guides and establish best practice across the site – always with the VERO MODA target audience in mind.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Writing attractive product abstractJV_descriptions for VERO MODA products, that enhances purchasing experiences
• Communicating the VERO MODA brand story in a clear and engaging way
• Establishing guidelines for the different types of content, both for B2B and B2C platforms
• Proofreading and editing product abstractJV_descriptions, focusing on grammar, punctuation etc.
• Coordinating with the language specialists for the different markets to ensure that copy is translated appropriately.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background, e.g. cand.ling.merc or similar
• Understanding of and hands-on experience with online/marketing advertising copywriting, preferably for e-commerce
• Advanced English skills in writing
• Experience with SEO is an advantage
• Interest in fashion.

While experience is a strong advantage, we also encourage newly graduates to apply. The key requirement is that you can to communicate flawlessly in English, and turn product information into selling texts. 

Personality
You are creative, always looking for new and distinctive ways to present our styles. You write sharp and catchy copy and you know how to sell clothes through your words and enhance product features in a way that catches the consumers’ attention. You pay great attention to details, focused on a proper use of grammar, punctuation etc. Since you will be handling various concurrent projects and tasks in a busy and dynamic department, it is key that are flexible, proactive and results oriented. You will be coordinating the process around the content production, and consequently, your role has ties to other functions as well, such as language specialists. Consequently, it is key that you are collaborative, and can build relationships across markets.
