As a part of Vestas Technology & Service Solutions, the Control Functions department is responsible for developing future control technologies ensuring optimal performance of our products under all conditions. The department consists of highly skilled and experienced engineers and assumes full accountability of all aspects of the control solution delivered to the products. Responsibilities: Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for: Identification of business opportunities using combinations of fleet data statistics and data logs to identify intelligent solutions for optimized, autonomous turbine control. Feasibility studies of turbine and fleet operation using machine learning techniques. Implementation of machine learning algorithms Verification on all levels, including fleet-wide field testing Qualifications: You have: Master degree or PhD in Machine Learning 3+ years relevant experience with industrial application of machine learning Experience with handling of large and diverse data sets using e.g. SQL Experience with implementing machine learning algorithms Knowledge about control of machinery You may have: Knowledge of energy systems Knowledge of fleet or plant management Experience with control of machinery Competencies: You have strong drive and proactively seek business opportunities.
