Technology & Service Solutions, Engineering & Repair, CIM Engineering. CIM Engineering is part of the Vestas Service Engineering department within Vestas Technology & Service Solutions (TSS), Vestas R&D organization. The core competence of the Service Engineering Organization is to generate knowledge from experience and data gathered in the field and perform high-level problem solving through learning loops. Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) resolves CIM cases through upgrade solutions thereby ensuring safety and turbine performance. Responsibilities: Technical evaluation of new improvement cases/after sales options. Technical ownership of active improvement cases related to gear boxes. Perform and/or lead Root Cause Analysis activities. Technical Lead on development of retrofit solutions and after sales options. Technical support to Regional Engineering/Technical support departments. Cooperation with 3rd party companies/sub suppliers developing technical solutions. Provide input to future products/solutions. Technical review on future products/solutions. Qualifications: Mechanical engineer, M. Sc. or B. Sc. 5 year + experience within the wind power business with gearboxes as main working area. Competencies Good communication skills in English both written and verbal, as you will be working both with internal and external colleagues and partners in a global multi-cultural environment. You have leadership skills and would like to use it in your everyday work. You are pro- active and analytical. Knowledge about Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology. You are customer oriented and have the ability to understand the business value chain seen from a service and customer perspective.
