Job ID: 217398 Location: Vejle/Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark - Siemens Wind Power - http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time For our Offshore Engineering unit, we are looking for a structured and organized lead engineer to take responsibility for the rotor/nacelle configuration delivery in our execution projects. The configuration specialist will have the primary responsibility for turbine configuration and maintaining the standard product model portfolio. This will entail configuration support to the project organization, maintenance of standard and project specific product model. The role is also expected to include project management responsibilities related to standardized project specific solutions. What are my responsibilities? You will disciplinary report to Head of RNA Technology acting as a key resource for configuration related topics in offshore engineering Maintain generic product model. Make project specific configuration for sales projects Secure implementation of standard solutions in sales projects Develop and maintain an overall product model for sales projects Proactive approach to knowledge sharing Implementation of new configuration process What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a BSc or MSc in mechanical, construction, civil, manufacture or offshore engineering You are used to handle many different stakeholders and interfaces, even under pressure As a person you are proactive with a detail and process-oriented mindset Preferably, you have relevant experience from offshore or the wind industry You are able to work in an international environment having excellent English skills both orally and in writing Basic SAP user competences is a requisite Danish language skills would be an advantage As a person you have a responsible approach to your work and an analytical approach to your tasks. You are structured and result-orientated; you are able to carry out your tasks even in a sometime hectic and dynamic environment. It is important for this role that you have an outgoing personality, as you will be working with various partners and suppliers and facing a lot of different interfaces.
