Deliver technical procurement on a truly global scale As Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will join our CAPEX Procurement department. We are responsible for procurement activities between the LEGO Group and our suppliers of machinery, equipment and systems used by the Engineering department and our global manufacturing sites. You will have commercial responsibility for a category consisting of machinery and standard equipment used in production. This will provide you with many exciting challenges, particularly as we are in the process of deciding on a future global machine platform. Your assignments will be to: Help develop and implement a procurement strategy together with stakeholders, to obtain best value for money Secure the right agreements that provide global service and take the needs of local sites into consideration Ensure the right quality, on-time delivery of machinery and equipment on the right commercial terms Research and make assessments in close collaboration with technicians and operators Cooperate closely with stakeholders, using a succeeding together mind-set, and build a solid network, e.g. by reaching out to relevant colleagues who can provide the right input and who might not be used to working with procurement Be part of a connected community This is a position where you literally can see the results of your work. Collaboration minded specialist To succeed in this position, you need to have a collaborative mind-set combined with the drive to perform global procurement of a high standard. Your stakeholder management skills are good and you enjoy working with many different people who bring different competencies to the table. Your qualifications: You have 3-5 years' relevant technical procurement experience along with some experience from working in a global organisation You hold a degree within a field related to procurement, or alternatively an engineering degree You possess a strategic mind-set developed in a previous position along with a strong commercial streak that particularly shines when dealing with suppliers The flexibility to travel 30-50 days a year In general, your IT skills are good and you speak and write English fluently Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO® Community.
