The vision

AutoUncle’s vision is to become the used used platform for making hassle-free deals happen in Europe. Our search and price check platform is already used in 10 European countries, making it smoother for consumers and dealers to make hassle-free deals happen.

 

How we make money?

Car dealers pay for leads and qualified traffic to their online showrooms. In addition, they use AutoUncle’s online car valuation tools to manage inventory and to align pricing expectations with consumers. AutoUncle has paying car dealers in four countries (Germany, Italy, Denmark and Sweden).

 

Why a CSO now?

We have reached significant traffic levels and are now looking to set a strong commercial team to scale the dealer sales. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced candidate to lead our sales efforts across all countries.

 

The team

We are an energetic young team of +30 people of more than 5 different nationalities. We speak English at the office and on Slack. We have offices in Aarhus (HQ), Hamburg and Cluj.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities as Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

  • Lead AutoUncle's field sales teams in relation to car dealers in all countries
  • Recruit, train and coach (new) members of the sales team
  • Create and implement structure, processes and systems to scale AutoUncle's dealer sales
  • Budget and KPI responsibility for dealer sales in all countries
  • Create a strong performance culture in the sales organisation
  • Close important deals yourself
  • You will be part of the management team and work closely with the COO and CEO

You will be expected to work from the HQ in Aarhus at approximately half of the week. Btw Aarhus is among the top-10 happiest cities in the worldto live in.

 

What you will bring

Preferably, the right candidate has worked in the online automotive marketplace space and have +5 years of experience in sales and sales leadership/management.

  • Hands-on experience with scaling B2B sales, preferably form a international context (ideal profile: Head of sales from a marketplace startup at growth stage or established on automotive marketplace)
  • Strong B2B sales leadership experience
  • Experience in implementing structure and processes
  • Structured mindset and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, result-driven, self-motivated and independent
  • Knowledge and experience in selling to car dealers
  • Fluent in English is a must - and German would be a plus
