Then join us and become Business Developer in the CoE & Procurement/Electrical Systems Product Line, where we work with dedication on realising our targets of cost reduction by continuous improvement of electrical modules and levers. CoE & Procurement/Electrical Systems Product Line is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Business Developer you will be responsible for driving analyses related to strategic, business and engineering activities. Further, you will pro-actively challenge the business and technologies to find new value-creating ways of improvements. Your work will be in close collaboration with the internal teams as well as external partners, where you will support in facilitating development of modules and levers, thereby reducing the cost of electricity (CoE). Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •drive and undertake analyses across combinations of technologies, ensuring a total business case perspective •support in strategic development of roadmaps and in realising potentials •structure analyses of cost break-down structures and other cost analyses as well as prepare presentation materials for decision-makers and boards •support and participate in relevant networks both internally and externally •ensure development and implementation of efficient follow-up and reporting tools, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality standards in processes, systems and projects. Your profile You have a relevant educational background, preferably a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, but more importantly you have experience from structured product development from idea/concept to product introduction. It would also be an advantage to have experience from working in a production company. You have a strong commercial and business understanding and you deliver high-quality products with accuracy and by meeting deadlines. You are result-oriented with an analytical and structured problem-solving approach (ability to decompose very complex issues into simple elements supplemented with strong presentation skills). As a person, you excel in communicating and collaborating at all levels of the organisation, and you take the lead in tasks and projects when needed. You are curious by nature and see new initiatives, methods and changes as opportunities for improvements.
