Do you have a strong supply chain background and are you ready to take us further on our journey towards having a best in class supply chain? As Vice President Supply Chain you will be the functional leader of all supply chain activities in Danfoss Power Solutions, heading up a team of key specialists and reporting to segment President Eric Alström. The supply chain process covers the functional responsibility end-to-end from suppliers to in-plant logistics and to distribution centers and customers. The key tasks will be to coordinate the supply chain function across the 4 divisions in Power Solutions and to collaborate to drive performance improvement and ensure best practice sharing. You will also be key driver in ensuring appropriate key performance indicators are in place and that ambitious targets are set along with appropriate action plans. You will also be responsible for driving key projects to improve operational efficiency on time and to completion. Among success criteria are to ensure continued on time delivery performance improvement and through inventory management improving managed working capital in the segment. Strong supply chain background The ideal candidate has operational experience in supply chain and experience from working in the supply chain function in a global multinational and with extensive experience from working in a matrix organization. As a leader you are results oriented with strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively foresee and manage supply chain risks. You are an effective communicator with the right leadership. Power Solutions has a global foot print and your office location is not essential for your success as we work virtually extensively, but you should expect significant travel in this position.
