Are you interested in dealing with technical tasks and projects? Do you see yourself in a position where you will help ensure that production processes run optimally in relation to productivity, quality, and delivery? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the Danfoss Automatic Controls manufacturing engineering department in Nordborg, where you will be involved in the production of Bellow components used in Danfoss products as well as the production of expansion valves. We offer a unique job opportunity where you will play an active part in the development and execution of the operating strategy and implement concrete action plans in the production. In collaboration with our other teams, one of your main tasks will be to develop, maintain, and operate production processes using Danfoss’ internal lean tool, Danfoss Productivity Program (DPP). Ensuring and developing quality and productivity As our new production engineer, your overall goal will be to identify, plan, and execute process improvements and waste reduction, both in terms of quality, productivity, OEE, and cost. More specifically, your tasks will include: •Ensuring a high quality of technical solutions and projects •On-time delivery, both in terms of projects and deliveries to customers •Ensuring reliable production equipment •Optimising production processes •Developing and ensuring documentation – Design and production documentation We are constantly improving our processes, and it will be a natural part of the job to participate in different projects where you will be responsible for the part related to the production. We work in close contact with our customers and in close cooperation with our suppliers and colleagues globally in the Danfoss organisation. Technically strong, flexible and with a good overview You have an educational background as a production engineer or another relevant technical education. Furthermore, you have practical experience in the technical area – including process optimisation, lean implementation, and quality improvement. It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of TS16949 and experience with Six Sigma (Green Belt) as well as SAP and AutoCAD or Inventor. You are motivated by working with both theoretical and practical assignments, and you never compromise with the quality of your work. You are able to work systematically and analytically in your approach to the tasks, but are also able to use your creative sense. It is important that you are proactive and able to work independently and with others in the process from idea to implementation.
