IPM is a young company founded in 2014 as a spinoff from the Department of Micro- and Nanotechnology at DTU. IPM’s main interest is to develop environmental sensors using patentable technology. IPM is currently focusing on developing and testing a commercial product that can provide continuous measurements of pesticides in water production facilities.

 

We are searching for an ambitious Business developer/fundraiser who can join the team and focus on helping the company grow. Furthermore, the candidate can look forward to be challenged in creating a financial roadmap, preparing pitch presentations, participate and pitch to investors as well as writing fund applications. The work will involve interacting with international partners to present and discuss the results.

 

This position is a part of an EU project that IPM is currently engaged in. The project is running under strict deadline with milestone deliverables. The candidate will focus on attracting investors on board and keeping the business plan updated along with helping in presenting the company in different media.

 

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate holds at least a relevant master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering. The ideal candidate has to be self-driven and strongly focusing on ensuring product development towards the market.  

• 2-5 years of experience from a similar position
• Prior experience in helping companies/startups within fundraising.
• Have already shown results in business development in practice,
• A passion to learn about the technology and translating it into product.
• Highly energetic person with flexibility to work in a team, and being able to work independently
• Strong emotional intelligence and intuition, and excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Excellent English writing skills and excellent communicator with structural approach.
