If you have a strong combination of project management, stakeholder management skills, commercial understanding and technical insight you have the opportunity for a unique, challenging and exciting job now. As Project Manager Procurement, you will be acting as the key liaison between Category Managers, Purchasers, Quality specialists, product specialists and Project Managers.

You will have the overall responsibility for procurement activities within assigned project(s) to be executed in accordance with overall project schedule and budgets.

 

Brief Description

Orchestrate multiple procurement project tasks - to deliver success

You hold the ability to manage abstract concepts, systems and ideas and all of that in a self-disciplined way. You will be handling projects that require a great deal of attention realizing  results that are timely and accurate.

As Project Manager Procurement you can join the technical dialogue regarding deliverables and encourage your team to bring in as well detailed technical knowledge, enabling the team to carry out a thorough examination for all sides of the issue /problem.

Preferably, you hold following skills:

·         Manage the procurement part in projects to ensure all project deliverables are meet

·         Act as an integral part of the project team and closely collaborates with project managers

·         Support/coach development of other team members to ensure overall team success

·         5-7 years of experience within a senior purchasing role

·         Project management or management experience

·         Commercial and financial understanding

You can foresee up to 15-25 travel days per year.

Your CV covers vast experience from an international setting driving Procurement of complex products. For that matter, your technical expertise could derive from an engineering degree supported by a solid business understanding and the ability to deliver results in a complex organisational setting.

 

You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on timely, correct results.

Relying on your experience working in matrix organisations, you manage the challenge, having stakeholders spread in different organisations and levels, holding important business insight you require to avoid unpredictable risks for your projects. This requires good communication skills and a cross-cultural understanding along with a positive and cooperative mind-set.
