Charging the battery solutions of the future
As our battery specialist, you are responsible for the wind power storage area, and you will be our go-to person within batteries. You will develop a road map for our battery solutions as you help set our strategic direction going forward.
Furthermore, your focus areas will be:
• Staying on top of the technological development by collaborating with customers and universities as well as analysing the market and competitors
• Participating in developing new battery solutions as well as performing technical research
• Providing technical assistance for internal development projects and customer projects
• Assisting Procurement in building relations with suppliers and partners challenging them on technical details
• Supporting our key account managers on sales projects, collaborating with the customers regarding technical matters and helping them select the right solution
You can expect between 30 to 50 days of travel as you visit universities, suppliers, customers and conferences.
Battery expert with solid communication skills
Going to bed at night, you dream about batteries, and from the minute you wake up, batteries are on your mind. You are well aware of the latest developments, and though you do not necessarily have the chemical expertise, you have a thorough technical understanding.
• You hold an MSc EE/Ph.D or a master’s of physics or similar
• You have at least 5 years of experience working with battery technologies and energy storage
• You have a deep knowledge of the electrical/thermal aspects of batteries and are able to simulate and calculate battery behaviour, life time performance etc.
• You communicate effortlessly in English and are comfortable explaining complicated technical terms to non-experts
