AP accountant is an important position within our Finance Department offering many opportunities and great experience. As a AP Accountant you will be responsible for: • Checking invoices, ensuring compliance of local and group accounting of the Danish entity. •Expense analysis, supporting our Business Department in controlling the expense budget, and expense management. •Assist our Chief Accountant in making monthly and yearly closing including annual reporting and budgeting. Take charge of the accrual expense, amortization expense accounting. •Compliance and filing of local taxes, e.g. CIT, VAT and payroll tax. •Cash flow on daily and weekly basis including treasury forecasting. •Coordinate with internal departments as well as external authorities and institutions (e.g. SKAT/ATP/ Auditor/ Bank) to ensure compliance with local requirements and regulations. Qualifications required for AP Accountant position: •1-2 years working experience from a similar position is an advantage. •Bachelors Degree in finance related field. •Expertise in local tax and accounting regulations, good knowledge of Danish tax and accounting regulations. •Good communication skills, fluent in English and Danish in oral and writing. A candidate with previous experience from an international working environment will be preferred. •Well structured and reliable with great skills in terms of working independently as well as in team, able to learn fast and capable of offering support to other team members •Result oriented and self driven. •Availability on a short notice will be an advantage.
