Quality System Specialist to New Insulin Filling Facility (APX)

The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically and therefore we need to build a brand new insulin plant in Hillerød. The new plant will be ready in 2019, employ 450 employees and our goal is to create the world’s best filling plant with the newest technology. We need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new. It is very rare that you get the opportunity to build something right from the ground and where you have a great opportunity to put your own fingerprints. Do you find this exiting? About the department The quality department in the project is responsible for setting up and maintaining the Quality Systems, Quality Assurance during construction, qualification and release of Aseptic products. We are also responsible for Regulatory Approvals and purchasing, qualifying and implementing equipment and processes for the Environmental Monitoring and Cleaning for the new facility. The quality department will have 3 teams: Quality Assurance, Quality System and Environmental Monitoring. Each team will consist of 2-4 people in the beginning - growing to 5 - 15 people. The job You will be part of the Quality System team and will report to the Team leader for the Quality System team. Together with the rest of the team you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the Quality system incl. document handling, training system, audit and archives. The team will work closely together with the other teams in the project to make sure we are always in compliance. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar and have solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry, ideally an international setting. In addition, you have 2-5 years of experience with one or more of the following areas: Quality System, Quality Assurance or aseptic production. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. As you will be part of the team starting up this area, in our project, you can look forward to setting the standard for where we are going. You are a social and positive type of person and you work in a proactive and solution oriented manner.
