Then you might be our new scientist for the purification team in Diabetes API (DAPI) Process Support. About the department You can look forward to becoming a part of a dynamic and well-functioning team consisting of 11 research scientists and 6 lab. technicians. We love professional challenges; we work independently with great individual responsibility and with a high level of commitment. We have many contacts/stakeholders in the organization including DAPI, CMC, RA, QA and others. We are known for a good and open working environment with the slogan “It should be fun to go to work”. The department is part of DAPI Manufacturing Development, and consists of approx. 55 employees distributed into 4 teams. The department is located in Bagsværd, but also has offices in Kalundborg, and you should expect to work there at least 1 day a week. The job The job is a temporary position with the duration of 13 months. DAPI Process Support provides support to DAPI’s production departments within the areas: process optimization, troubleshooting and transfer of new processes from development to production. We are responsible for the completion of the parameter studies in the development projects. As we support the API production, your job will be to contribute to continuous stable operations and quality in the running productions. Your field of work will be: commenting on deviations, planning and evaluation of experiments, preparation of protocols and reports, preparation and maintenance of SOPs and professional discussions with the production. Since the job, far along the road, is self-organized, it is very important to be able to prioritize work assignments as well as being comfortable in a changing and hectic environment. In this job you can look forward to the possibility of personal as well as professional development. Qualifications We imagine that you are an engineer, Cand. Scient., pharmacist or similar and have experience within protein chemistry, protein purification or similar. Having experience with the processes which are used in API production is a plus. As a person you work independently, are able to handle a complex workday and are comfortable with a close and cheerful collaboration with your team and department. You are responsible, flexible, and have the courage and urge to engage in new assignments and stick to them until the job is finished. It is important that you are a good communicator, since you are in daily contact with other chemists, technicians, production employees, project managers, analytical laboratories and othersA positive mindset will suit our working environment where a good laugh is appreciated even when things are getting hectic.
