About the department In Corporate IT, you will be part of a highly engaged department, R&D Solutions. We are responsible for managing the IT systems for Research & Development, supporting systems which are core to the clinical processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be involved in the operation, maintenance and development of a GxP critical IT system. The system integrates source data into regulatory authorised compliant structures, and provides applications for performing statistical analysis. The system offers applications to support data mapping, defining standardised metadata and building statistical analysis programs. Your tasks will include responsibility for managing corrections and releases as well as the support process. You will part of a team with colleagues in Bagsværd as well as Bangalore in India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore R&D Solutions are involved in projects with R&D line of business, working closely to ensure that business processes are supported by the IT system. R&D Solutions is a part of R&D IT, Corporate IT in Novo Nordisk A/S. The job As a specialist, the job entails a broad range of IT system management activities such as but limited to; Managing the incident and problem management process. Facilitating and controling system changes including converting business requirements into quality system functionality via frequent release activities. Collaborating with line of business, vendors, key stakeholders and service providers globally. Ensuring external vendors are fulfilling contract responsibilities. Management reporting on a regular basis and making recommendations for improvements in processes and identifying better practice. Being responsible for ensuring that the computer system is in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a master degree and has a proven track record with 3 – 5 years’ experience in IT system management, preferably within the pharmaceutical (or other relevant) industry. It is an advantage (but not a requirement) if you have knowledge and experience within the technology stack of data warehousing and system integration. Your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing drive for results. Being open minded and positive you are a natural relation builder to people across all organisational levels, geography and cultural differences. To succeed it is also crucial that you thrive on working independently as well as part of a team and embrace changing deadlines/prioritisations as a challenge rather than a constraint.
