TRANSPORT MANAGER- A KEY ROLE IN THE ORGANISATION A high drive and excellent communication skills is a must. The key to success in the position is a sound background in working with forwarding combined with strong stakeholder management skills. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As transport manager you will be responsible for the sourcing of Orifarm’s inbound, outbound and intercompany transportation in a complex environment with a high degree of regulatory requirements. In the sourcing process it is your responsibility to accommodate the requirements of the organisation in the most cost efficient way. You will be managing process interfaces with stakeholders e.g. purchasing, quality, supply chain and legal with focus on smooth processes and minimizing of scrap due to transport. You will be participating in high level projects as well as be handling day to day tasks in close corporation with our transport assistant. Further, you must be able to work on your own initiative and respond proactively and decisively in a fast moving environment. YOUR SKILLS You have several years of experience from a forwarding company or alternatively experience with sourcing of transport. You have strong skills in stakeholder management and are able to manage various stakeholders with conflicting interests. The job requires that you can dig into details and draw out conclusions from these as well as communicating these to the stakeholders. You have a structured way of working and the ability to handle a large variety of tasks independently. You are confident with working with contracts and are proficient in excel. We act in an international setting and therefore you are expected to master English at a high level. If you speak German in addition it is an advantage.
