Drive and develop architecture and put your mark on a global digital platform As Senior Backend Developer, you will enable the delivery of new impactful digital experiences, ensuring that the project development lives up to requirements and timeline. The global digital platform consists of components ranging from backend services and integration to school systems, to e-learning, desktop applications, Apps, HTML/Web, assessments tools and more. As part of the new department, Business Innovation Solutions, you: Have Application Architecture responsibility, ensuring that the technical solution is aligned with strategic development goals, architecture and is aligned with the project development team Participate actively in the blueprint, design, implementation and test phases and are responsible for using the right technology and the right architecture Take ownership of the development plan as Lead Developer, including day to day execution by coordinating developer teams to ensure timely and high quality deliverables Ensure that quality assurance is performed during the actual design, implementation and testing phases as well as ensure that complete unit and regression testing is performed Trusted to deliver a high-impact digital platform We wish every child to succeed and believe that all children should be allowed to reach their full potential by getting an impactful learning. Experienced developer with solid knowledge of web architecture To be successful in this role, you most likely have a Master's degree in Computer Science or (IT) Engineering combined with extensive experience with development. In addition, you have previously worked in an agile environment with iterative development cycles. Working in an entrepreneurial environment, you are change-ready and a team-player with the skills to communicate clearly and set a direction for your team.
