The position is the junior manager to take part of the growing tax department, particularly its transfer pricing team, responsible for managing the inter-company transactions with the ultimate objectives of improving inter-company processes from an operational point of view and enhancing the Group’s tax positions from the efficiency and risk mitigation perspectives. The focus will be on establishing, improving and managing transfer pricing models and internal processes on existing transactions; as well as participating in international tax and transfer pricing projects. The position should handle critical Carlsberg's transfer pricing matters in a structured and co-ordinated way. In dealings with local and international interfaces present tax and transfer pricing solutions, policies and specialist knowledge in an understandable manner that will contribute to the Group’s improvement of its tax positions. The position will operate from the Group’s headquarters, in Copenhagen, and be part of dedicated team of three transfer pricing specialists (including the reporting line manager) but relying on a growing and increasingly integrated network of tax and transfer pricing specialists across the Group. Educational requirements: •High degree (equivalent to a Bachelor / Master) in economics, finance, law, business management or similar. •4+ years of transfer pricing experience – preferably experience from consulting and/or MNE’s in-house environments. •Fluent in English Personal qualifications / competencies: •Analytical mindset •Detail-oriented approach to work •Versatile communicator: comfortable with words, numbers and people •Structured approach to planning and execution •Results driven / Execution focused (follow-through to make things happen) •Strategic thinking: ability to place tasks in bigger picture •Strong communication and persuasion skills – stakeholder management •Adaptable to diverse cultural backgrounds •Open-minded: need to learn continuously on technical and organization matters •High level of energy •Team player •Flexible: capable of adapting and compromising under complex circumstances •Well organized and self-disciplined regarding documentation of processes Task specification: •Improve and support ownership of Group’s inter-company savings and sponsorships •Develop a solid understanding of the Group’s brand-related intangible properties value management and licensing model, in order to take increased responsibilities over time •Generally advise Group functions and Group companies on transfer pricing matters •Manage transfer pricing compliance requirements globally, including relationships with external advisers and Group Companies •Support Group Tax in improving control mechanisms over the full transaction cycle (from pricing concept to payment), via stronger cooperation with Group Finance •Develop new Group-wide tools to improve analysis of key indicators that should drive transfer pricing management •Co-develop and manage new Transfer Pricing Knowledge tools and procedures, to ensure the team stays up to date with ongoing developments, and that other relevant Group functions or Group Companies are involved •Participate in international tax and transfer pricing related projects involving business restructuring, legal reorganizations and/or improvement of transfer pricing models, with the view of increasing the Group’s tax efficiency or mitigating tax risks Expected travel days: 15 - 30 days per year Application deadline: As soon as possible Contacts: Luis Abrantes Telephone: +45 22132043 Home page: http://www.carlsberggroup.com
