Mostly engineers, we conduct our business with some of the world’s most prestigious brands within the audio and computer industry, including Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins, Audi and ASUS. We do so to elevate user experience and audio quality through solutions for consumer, professional, automotive and mobile audio applications. Here, you will get an integral position in a small, informal team where everyone pitches in to influence projects and daily schedules. Make a great solution better You join us to further develop our audio software package, ICEsound, an audio processing solution that improves the audio quality of Windows and Android products such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. Your main responsibilities will be to develop, implement and integrate new audio algorithms. You will be specifying and implementing the algorithms to deliver the best possible solution, balancing audio quality with processing power and power consumption. Thus, you will be involved all the way from the conception to the final testing of the algorithms on the customer’s final products. Since the products are designed with the customers’ needs in mind, you will be working closely with them to ensure that their needs are fulfilled. Likewise, you will be working directly with hardware vendors to ensure a smooth integration on their platforms. In a market that uses very rapid development and release cycles, you will be able to see your work being deployed to millions of devices within as little as months after completion. Skilled audio processing programming professional looking to develop We are looking for someone with the right mind-set and a willingness to learn what it takes to achieve the best solutions; someone in tune with signal processing, performance optimisation and what contributes to good audio quality. You may be a seasoned developer or recently graduated. All the same, we need you to be skilled at programming and have hands-on experience with: • Developing algorithms in MATLAB and implementing them in real-time C/C++ code • Digital signal processing methods (IIR, FIR, DRC etc.) and their applications (equalisation, compressor/limiters, speaker protection, 3D virtualization etc.) Additionally, you should have good cooperation and communication skills and an ability to find elegant solutions to problems.
