Johnson Controls, Global Marine maintains a global marine service and parts network that provides customers with full 24-hour, 7-days a week technical support for Johnson Controls Marine plants and equipment including Sabroe, Stal, York, Gram and Frick compressors. Our marine services technicians are experts in their field, supported by experienced refrigeration and marine engineers, equipped to deal with everything from supplying on-demand services, replacing HVAC and refrigeration equipment to refrigerant conversions to energy efficiency upgrades. To further strengthen our competencies and our activities within the area of services and aftersales, we are looking for an experienced Commercial & Technical HVAC specialist. Based in Hoejbjerg, Denmark, the new position will be reporting to the Branch Manager of Marine Service. As Commercial & Technical HVAC specialist, you will lead the development of the HVAC business for Johnson Controls Marine Services Denmark. Key responsibilities will include identification and building up of a HVAC product portfolio for: •On-demand service •Scheduled maintenance/service contracts •Retrofit solutions •Equipment & parts sales Principal duties: •Executes the sales process to aid in cultivating and managing long-term customer relationships, seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. •Works in tight cooperation with the existing sales organization utilizing all synergies between the refrigeration and the HVAC segments. •Analyzes system costs including labor (detailed design, engineering, testing, and installation) and components. •As appropriate, discusses HVAC requirements with vendors to obtain technical and dimensional information. •Works together with design specialists to prepare final drawings. •Performs required engineering and coordination in order to ensure delivery of products and services within time and scope. Skills and Competencies •Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. •A minimum of three years’ experience in the (marine) HVAC engineering. •Strong commitment to integrity and quality in business. •Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
