For our Thermal Design Team in the Generator Department we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to be able to meet the expanding activities. In order to bring state-of-the-art turbine technology to a still more competitive market continuous improvement of our turbines is one of the corner stones of our culture, and without compromising on safety and quality; time to market is one of our main priorities. Consequently, our generator department is at the forefront of the latest Direct Drive Generator technology, and we are replacing the gear box with our own developed multi-poled, outer rotor, permanent magnet generator. What are my responsibilities? As technical project manager it is your responsibility to plan and develop the thermal design for our wind turbine: have the technical responsibility for developing the thermal design in the turbine project participate and drive: concept development detailed design test and validation implementation be responsible for the detailed planning of development and documentation tasks in the team (2-4 persons) based on the project plan ensure high quality in our documentation standard be contact person for Production, Procurement, Quality as well as Service Travel activity will be approximately 10 – 20 days a year What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background as a mechanical or thermal engineer (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) or similar. · You have some years of experience from a large scale manufacturing company and experience with working after project plans · You have experience with thermal design · You have a big personal drive, you are self-driven and you feel a natural ownership of your tasks · You are good at making connections, plus build up and actively use your network · You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
