Then you could be our new IT Sourcing Coordinator within Global IT Sourcing Global IT/Global IT Sourcing/Sourcing Execution & VRM Global IT is the business area responsible for all IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, and with reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers everything from business engagement and requirements gathering to project implementations, infrastructure operations and end user support. Global IT also contains a Sourcing function, and this is where we are looking to hire a new colleague. Global IT Sourcing is responsible for all IT related sourcing within Vestas, covering HW, SW and Services/Consultancy. The department consists of two sub departments, Sourcing Execution & VRM and Transactional Purchasing, and currently counts 16 people. The yearly spend managed within Global IT Sourcing is in the range of 50mio Euro, so there is ample opportunity to have significant impact on Vestas´ ability to continue to run a cost efficient IT setup. Outsourcing and offshoring activities are the responsibility of Global IT Sourcing and our new colleague will play an important role in further utilizing the opportunities within this area. Currently two major areas are outsourced. This is our Data Centre Services where the outsourcing partner is NNIT and Application Development where the outsourcing partner is HCL. Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will be to: •Assist in development of competitive tender material, such as RFx and evaluation methods/matrices •Coordinate and assist Sourcing Specialists in the IT sourcing lifecycle to ensure competitive bids from tender development through evaluation of bids, negotiation, selection and transition to operation. •Conduct data gathering and validation. •Prepare management reporting on Vendor and Contract performance •Coordinate vendor engagement meetings according to VRM process •Provide financial analysis of vendors, in relation to vendor evaluations •Maintain tender/contract template library •Maintain GIS tools and processes •Participate in external knowledge communities and training activities Qualifications: Qualifications and work experience: •Relevant education on Bachelor level •2-3 years of work experience in similar position Competencies: We expect you to have: •Good understanding of legal aspects within IT contracts •Good understanding of business needs and ability to translate requirements into contractual services, terms and conditions •Good financial understanding – Experience with SAP and Excel is preferable •Relevant certifications within Sourcing, Vendor management or Project management •Ability to cooperate and communicate at all levels •Ability to prioritize and keep deadlines, and are structured and process orientated •Ability to work independently as well as in teams and shows readiness to take on the task available •English language at negotiation level – oral and written What we offer: We offer an exciting and challenging job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the world’s leading wind turbine producer.
