Join Data Management – a key player in our transformative journey

At our office in Billund, our newly established Data Management team of 5 is responsible for driving the data strategy and execution whilst guiding the many different business areas towards becoming more data-driven. To do this, we govern the data platforms and their growth through continuous development and definition of standards and guidelines on how to operate as a data-driven company.

With a main role in assisting the team’s data governors and managers, you will work with a wide variety of data, including retail, sales, production and market data. Specifically, you will:

- Support operational user access management

- Research on data source documentation

- Identify data quality issues and support our data governors and managers in resolving those issues

- Document all data management processes and changes

- Support the management of raw data

A team that is vital to optimal decision-making

With top management attention and a key role in securing information for future decision-making, we are constantly developing our processes and challenging what others may take for granted in data management.

As a student assistant in our team, you will get the opportunity to gain experience working in an agile methodology and support the resolution of an ever-changing landscape of business data problems and challenges by contributing with your knowledge and ideas.

Curious and communicative with a passion for networking and optimising processes

To succeed in this position, it is vital that you have the motivation to learn and the curiosity to explore data-driven decision-making and identify process improvement potentials. It is also important that you understand the importance of the right level of documentation and knowledge sharing and have the motivation to help the business understand the strategical asset that data represents.

Moreover, you:

- Are currently studying business intelligence, business economics, business engineering or the like at a university or business school

- Have already passed the first year and preferably have at least a year left of your education

- Speak fluent English

- Have the ability to work approx. 2 days per week – but naturally, we are flexible during exam periods and the like

- Preferably have practical experience with data management and process documentation, but it is not a must
