About the department

Corporate Strategy is responsible for the development of Novo Nordisk’s corporate strategy, including therapy area strategies and managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives and running ad hoc strategy projects for Executive Management. This includes driving strategic assessments of Novo Nordisk’s business areas and portfolios. As our temporary Strategy Project Lead you will join a team of 5 dedicated colleagues located in Søborg.
 

The position

You will be part of the team driving the corporate strategy discussions through the Novo Nordisk Strategy Review. In the role, you will help develop a clear strategic direction and recommendations to Executive Management in collaboration with senior stakeholders from all functions in Novo Nordisk. 

You will support as well as drive project management of strategic assignments, prepare presentations and memos for senior management and ensure project plan and milestone deliveries in the strategic planning process. You will also be responsible for communicating the Novo Nordisk Strategy. 

The position is a temporary maternity cover for a period of 12 months.
 

Qualifications

Solid project management skills and business understanding combined with 3+ years of relevant experience either from within the pharmaceutical industry or from a consulting or analytical/financial institution. You are recognised for your strong analytical and stakeholder management skills and you are data driven and can easily prepare overviews while highlighting relevant strategic considerations. 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain the overview during pressure in a multifaceted and busy organisation are required. You will assume dialogue with a multitude of functions across the organisation and be in regular contact with senior management, thus you should be capable of and feel comfortable working and interacting at all organisational levels. 

You thrive in a busy environment, bring a can-do attitude, have attention to detail and you maintain a healthy sense of humour, also when the pressure is high. You are a team player, but also enjoy working independently. Finally, you master the English language in speech and writing.
