Our customers have long term focus on assets and often work with complex business models, for which reason we are looking for a Strategic Customer Manager to establish and build strong long-term relationships. As a Strategic Customer Manager you will be setting the direction for and work closely with customers on a global scale, ensuring that our business excels in our daily operation. What are my responsibilities? As a Strategic Customer Manager you will be the main point of contact for selected customer(s). This includes: Develop and be responsible for customer strategy and the account business plan. Identify future business areas, products and collaboration models relevant for your assigned strategic customer(s). Be the focal point for all activities related to the customer. This includes support to our Sales, Operations and Technology departments in the communication and solution finding towards and with the customer. Drive the business around the customer(s), manage and lead the dialog and communication at highest level in the organization (often executive management). Establish, manage and safeguard the KPIs, thereby ensuring Siemens focus on relevant topics to improve customer satisfaction. Help identify and meet customer requirements and ensure consistency across Siemens subsidiaries. Help the customer address issues and requirements, and ensure these are managed efficiently within Siemens. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a broad business understanding, flair for both the technical and commercial setups and know what it takes to deliver good service. You have a Master degree or similar and several years of experience in managing customers or driving business performance as a key account manager, business manager, or the like where you have handled large scale accounts and covered all aspects of doing business (sales, operations, technical issues etc.) Your past experience has provided you with a solid technical and commercial understanding. Experience from working in the wind industry is advantageous but not a requirement. You are trustworthy and show consistency and credibility in your way of handling your daily tasks. You are able to handle complex issues, maintain the overall overview and focus on the essential parts. You excel in creating long-term relationships and know how to adapt to and interact with people at all levels of large multinational organizations. In relation to this you can demonstrate extensive English skills – both orally and in writing. 1-2 travelling days per week must be expected in this job.
