Job Description

Do have the technical interest, excellent overview and strong communication skills to become our new Solution Architect in the Customer Relationship Management solutions in Danfoss Group IT? Your key task will be to ensure that the solutions within this field are fast, flexible and deliver to the demands of Danfoss’ customers. If you have an opinion about how architecture can drive a great digital customer experience – and the track record to prove it - then this might be the job for you.
 
Solution Architect with eye on simplicity and flexibility
Our Solution Architect will be playing an important role in transforming our touchpoints related to Sales, Service, Marketing, eBusiness, Digital Solutions and Product Assets and Configuration. You will work in the offset of our Digital Customer Experience program – and in close cooperation with the Enterprise IT Architect as well as business and IT peers in a global setup. It will be your responsibility to translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints – but also acting as Subject Matter Expert on the technologies and trends within the area of expertise. To be successful in this job, you need a good portion of will to drive simplification of structures and reduce complexity in our architecture where needed. You also need to feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where things can be hectic- but where we cherish humor, integrity and open co-operation on all levels in our teams.
 
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders as well as enterprise architecture, information security and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designs to allow for speed and agility at the same time as ensuring robust and reliable operations.
• Producing technical documentation of systems and architectures.
• Planning projects to replace and migrate legacy technologies.
• Designing fast yet still reliable and scalable solutions in a global delivery context. 

You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Relationship Management in Danfoss Group IT and you must expect some travel activity to HQ.
 
The successful candidate has/is:

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• More than 5 years of architecture design experience
• Participated in global transformations of similar scope and coverage
• TOGAF certification or similar
• ArchiMate documentation concept or similar
• Good understanding of agile principles and development methodologies (DevOps)
• Good understanding of integration concepts like API, SOA and Micro services
• Fluent in English – both spoken and in writing
• Driven by simplifying and reducing legacy complexity where needed
• Ability to work creatively and challenge current structures
• Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences on all levels
