Job Description

Lead Engineer – Unified Communications & Collaboration Systems
Are you a driven and hardworking engineer? Do you consider yourself as a specialist in Office 365 and Unified Communications & Collaboration Systems? Then you might be our new Unified Communications Lead Engineer, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining our hybrid Microsoft Exchange environment.

Danfoss IT is a global function supporting our four segments and group functions. We have stakeholders in most departments at different levels, and internally in IT we interact with IT Solutions and IT Services. We expect that you will be able to have an in-depth understanding of the business, and that, at the same time, you will be able to influence and motivate stakeholders within both project management and IT tools. It is important that you have good communication skills, so that you in a professional way can create results.

What Danfoss offers you
You will be one of the key players in establishing a Danfoss Unified Communication System. In line with our corporate strategy and to create a One Company approach, you will work on configuration, testing and support of our Microsoft Exchange Online environment as well as ensuring the continued support and renewal of our On-Premises installation.

You will be a key player in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring safe migration and integration into our common setup. You will ensure that this communication system will provide everyone with a consistent user experience, which enables to improve the efficiency of business operations. You will enhance your skills by learning latest trends and updates on new messaging/collaboration technologies and architectures.

Your typical day will include

• Providing 2nd level support to our IT support organization

• Acting as a consultant towards our business ensuring they get the most out of our services.

• Planning and evaluating the existing Microsoft Exchange hybrid environment, ensuring maximized availability and securely provided feature set.

• Work on the development of relevant technical standards and interface applications for the system.

• Track and monitor the performance of the system and provide proactive resolution for problem or outages.

• Contribute significantly in a research role, with some direct client interface, to the development, review and presentation of product capability, best practices, proposals, implementation and support services, project planning, and risk mitigation.

What we look for

• Solid experience in managing a hybrid Microsoft Exchange / Office 365 setup.

• Solid experience with managing EOP & ATP.

• Administration and solid troubleshooting experience with ADFS and AAD Connect.

• Implementation, administration and troubleshooting experience with DNS, SPF, DKIM and DMARC

• Strong PowerShell skills, previous programming experience and willingness to go all command line!

• Experience with managing SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business is desirable.

• Experience with managing Skype for Business Online and On-Premise is desirable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Apply good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex concurrent tasks.

On a more personal note, we are looking for a person, ready to take ownership and responsibility over the tasks and assignments you are working on. Your authority will enable you to make decisions pushing and supporting the business on a global scale, to move in the right direction.

You can be working out of our office in Nordborg or at DTU in Copenhagen. For the right person home office can be a possiblity.
