GN Netcom Ballerup - Denmark GN Netcom is looking for a Software Test Coordinator for our Software Engineering Department. The department is part of the highly professional R&D organization and responsible for specification, design, implementation and testing of software for GN Netcom's products. All three disciplines – embedded software, PC software and software testing – are fully responsible for maintaining and developing GN Netcom's software platforms for current and future products. Our products cover a number of different technical aspects such as USB, audio, Bluetooth, DECT, various operating systems, PC’s, smartphones and web-services in new and exciting combinations. Software Engineering is a truly global organization represented in Ballerup/Denmark, Nashua/USA, Xiamen/China and Bangalore/India. Responsibilities and tasks You will be based in our team of software test coordinators but taking an active cross-functional role in our product programs. This involves working with: • Investigating technologies and introducing new test environments to GN Netcom • Requirement analysis and test suite/case design • Delivering on improvement projects, e.g. use of new tools, techniques, test automation etc. • Planning of test execution based on the progress of implementation and maturity level • Analysis and follow-up on test reports leading to proper change initiatives • Cooperation with external vendors and testing teams in other sites Qualifications and experience We are looking for an experienced software test coordinator who is able to work in an international environment towards internal as well as external customers: • Education as an engineer or similar • 5 years’ experience as coordinator of software testing activities • ISTQB or other relevant certification • Solid experience with telephony solutions • Solid experience with software applications/apps testing across different operating systems • Solid experience with structured design, e.g. UML, state-event or hierarchical design • Systematic approach to problem solving, documentation and testing • Passionate about quality, usability and the use of best practices, methodologies and modern tools • Experience with different development approaches (e.g. waterfall or agile practices) and how to apply the right software testing strategy Your personal profile • Ability to work globally with several different cultures • Proactive, goal-oriented and focused on completion • Team-oriented, good communication and cooperation skills • Excellent English, both spoken and written How to apply Contact Søren Skov Andersen, Software Director, R&D Software Engineering on +45 45 75 92 80 for further information, or apply now and definitely no later than August 10, 2014.
