The team
You will become part of an autonomous product team of highly skilled cross-functional colleagues - all with insights about various aspects of our products, technologies and engineering practices.
We have the end-to-end responsibility for different supply chain planning applications. We are constantly striving to digitalize, optimize and automate our planning processes, while continually improving our existing solutions.
At the moment, one of our primary focus areas is to develop new functionalities that increase transparency towards our suppliers give our users better control of the respective area, thus reducing waste, lead times and money spent.
In BESTSELLER IT the atmosphere is more like that of a start-up than an IT department with hundreds of colleagues. We have rapid decision processes, there is room for experimenting with new technologies, and we move fast from idea to execution.
The job
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and improve software solutions that help our demand and supply planners make better planning decisions - thus having direct impact on BESTSELLER's top- and bottom line.
We have a full-stack approach, so we hope you are interested in contributing to both front- and backend development, although we completely understand if you have a preference towards one or the other. We work dual-track Kanban (i.e. product discovery in parallel to continuous delivery) and practice MVP-based development in iterations.

As a person, you have a strong desire to learn and understand new technologies. Being part of a small, agile team, it comes naturally to you to share your knowledge and to inspire and support your colleagues. You contribute constructively to team discussions, and you enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems together. With your critical eye and sense for detail, you deliver quality code and take ownership and feel accountable for the team's results. You thrive in a role where you collaborate closely with colleagues across the entire business to deliver solutions with the end-user in mind.
Qualifications
- You have experience with ASP.NET/.NET Core, HTML/CSS and Javascript/Typescript
- You are familiar with working with databases (i.e. MS SQL) and APIs
- You have also dabbled with ANGULAR and have the interest to continue in this direction
- Developing great and meaningful products to ensure the highest level of user satisfaction comes naturally to you
- You are interested in technically complex solutions for supply chain management and/or demand planning
- You might already know about software development frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban - otherwise we will get you there when you join us on our agile journey.
