Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving new innovative ideas and technology into concepts that demonstrate the core elements and remove the major uncertainties both technically and commercially. In addition, your responsibility will cover to:
- drive innovation within various wind power related concepts focusing on rotor design, aerodynamics, and control systems
- transform information from stakeholders across the value chain into workable hypotheses for innovative concepts
- lead and ensure progress in product concepts
- make choices to ensure that the selected concepts turn into products and solutions matching customer needs
Qualifications
- An engineering background, most likely at least at Master level, and broad technical understanding combined with minimum 10 years of experience within wind turbine engineering
- Deep understanding of wind turbine physics and loads including experience with the load simulation tools like
- Expert knowledge within structural dynamics and aerodynamics
- Knowledge about control of wind turbines and wind turbine design
- Ability to dive into the details and challenge the process to secure agile and fast concept exploration
