Senior Specialist for the department Existing Bridges and Monitoring

We are busy with many challenging and different projects in the department “Existing Bridges and Monitoring” and we are looking for a Senior Specialist with +15 years of experience.

Your responsibilities as Senior Specialist

In your role as Senior Specialist, your focus will be to develop our department services and act as a technical lighthouse in the department. As such, it will be your responsibility to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and more efficient ways of working. In doing so, you collaborate closely with the Chief Project Managers and Head of Department.  

Your key responsibilities are:

• Perform complex analysis using computer modelling; creating, reviewing and interpreting technical material
• Promote the Ramboll brand and undertake business development
• Take a Project Manager role for single discipline projects and represent Ramboll at external client meetings
• Manage project costs, resources and programmes
• Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise technical work on bids and projects

You and your competencies

You are a senior specialist with a civil or mechanical engineer background within transport and infrastructure. You want to take an active role in driving Technical Excellence within the team, and wider Group, which will involve developing and leading areas as e.g. “load carrying calculations” and “strengthening of structures”.

Needed qualifications:

• Experience from a multi-disciplinary environment, working on complex infrastructure projects
• Good level of written and spoken Danish
• Knowledge of monitoring structures is preferable but not a must

Existing Bridges and Monitoring is a department of approx. 25 employees who work extensively across the units in Ramboll. The department works with advanced load carrying capacity calculations, strengthening projects and monitoring of structures. This gives you a unique opportunity to work across Ramboll including cross-border.

The location of employment will be at our headquarter in Copenhagen.
