Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…be the owner of and responsible for our rotor sub-systems roadmap. You will lead, drive and align the development of the rotor sub-systems roadmap together with other specialists in our Technology organisation as well as stakeholders in our two mother companies (MHI and Vestas). You will be part of a team of dedicated and highly-skilled Programme Specialist in our Product Management Department.  The rotor sub-systems comprise blades, hub (non-structural part), blade bearings, pitch system, etc.  

You will also be responsible for:  

• Integrating the sub-system roadmap into our Product Roadmap 
• The technical content in meetings with suppliers and customers regarding your expert area and related technology topics 
• Setting the overall strategic direction for the Category teams where you will participate with other technical specialists (the Category teams are led by Sourcing) 
• The technical aspects of customer-facing activities and present MHI Vestas at conferences and fairs within your expert area 

Skills & experience: Our new colleague… 

…has at least 5 years of experience from a senior leadership position within wind, preferably offshore wind. You have a relevant technical educational background combined leadership experience, strong commercial acumen and superior stakeholder management skills. To succeed in this position, you must have extensive experience with rotor sub-systems technologies and how these impact other wind turbine systems.   

We expect that you:  

• Are self-driven, extrovert and have an entrepreneurial mindset 
• Have solid value-chain and enjoy working cross-functionally in an international environment 
• Have a good understanding of loads, aerodynamics and controls and how they impact rotor sub-systems and neighbouring systems 
• Are knowledgeable about technology trends within rotor sub-systems
