Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to work on international projects across Iran, Algeria and Russia with a broad range of stakeholders? About the department Local Manufacturing and International Operations Projects (LMIOP) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation and responsible for local manufacturing projects. The primary role of LMIOP is the establishment of new production sites in countries where local presence is required in order to obtain market access. These production sites are among others driven out of LMIOP’s Assembly Projects department where this job is situated. The job is located in Bagsværd, Denmark, however the projects will require your presence locally for periods of time. Some travel activity is therefore to be expected. The position You will set direction and be responsible for supporting and implementing Project Controls including establishment of fit-for-purpose program controls processes both at a program level as well as defining and supporting the implementation of project site controls. You will be reporting to the Assembly Programme Director and will need to have a high level of innovation and initiative in order to drive the right processes and deliverables. We expect you to be able to creatively analyse business problems/issues in order to reach innovative and data supported cost-effective and timely decisions. A high degree of innovative problem solving skills is expected due to the complexity and changeability of the project. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business or comparable and supplementary training within relevant areas like cGMP, project execution and personal development. A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in similar position with extensive knowledge and experience working in complex projects in various roles where several have included project/managerial responsibility. Experience in performing project controls tasks in projects during both pre-execution and execution phases. You enjoy communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders and know how to operate in a cross-cultural organisation with a high pace. Excellent command of written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
