Join us to expand our global €1 Billion per year service & maintenance business. Vestas wind power plant owners want business case certainty, cost effectiveness and innovative service offerings. Are you the right, experienced B-to-B product manager to drive this? Product Management, Service & Solutions Product Management drives the Vestas Product Strategy for all commercial offerings, including turbine products and Service & Solution offerings. As part of this Product Management drives the Service & Solutions roadmap that are profitable for Vestas and lives up to the most demanding customer needs. This is critical for Vestas in order to maintain the leadership position. In everything we do we have a commercial approach, i.e. we create value for our customers and for Vestas. In addition, two cross functional teams in Product Management drive the Vestas Technology & Service Solution Strategy and Go-To-Market and Launch Development activities. Service & Solutions Product Management has the commercial lead and management on service and solution offerings, including our service & maintenance offerings. We are accountable for the establishment, review and quality of business plans for service & maintenance product development. We cooperate closely with stakeholders across the entire Vestas organization. One of our key objectives is to empower our sales front line to capture the value that is being created though the development of service & maintenance offerings. Responsibilities and tasks You are part of Product Management, Service & Solution, which has the global product management responsibility of service and solutions in Vestas, and you will be the senior product manager responsible for the service and maintenance offerings. You will primarily be working with: Be an ambassador for the service value proposition across the Vestas organisation Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for Vestas’ service and maintenance offerings (Active Output Management offerings) Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan for service and maintenance offerings Participate in design and execution of market and competitor analyses on service & maintenance offerings Analyse and document market and customer requirements for service & maintenance offerings across markets through on-going communication with internal stakeholders and customers Drive the execution of the decided service & maintenance product roadmap in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders Drive the commercial assessment and prioritization of requests for new service & maintenance offerings Follow-up on the commercial product performance and life cycle of service & maintenance offerings Support the specification and creation of service & maintenance offerings for specific customer types and markets Support the development of sales tools for service & maintenance products Support and review relevant service & maintenance related technical sales/market documentation Qualifications and work experience You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc or an MBA - either in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience – or in Business/Economics combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience You have the following experiences: 10+ Years of experience with product management of service & maintenance offerings and solutions (or similar commercial experience) Proven success in a business-to-business product management role Solid experience working on complex, long-lived, capital intensive products and services Commercial experience from providing value added services to the wind energy and/or power industry, or related industries Experience from managing business transition processes is a plus Excellent skills in English – oral and written.
