Are you able to lead the way in making complex procurement simple?

Join us and become Senior Process Manager in the Systems & Processes team in Procurement where you’ll be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of our sourcing process (pre-contract phase) in close collaboration with management, sourcing managers and other essential stakeholders. To be successful, you’ll need to collaborate closely within the team on sharing knowledge, managing mutual dependencies and ensuring that ‘handovers’ are organised as efficiently as possible. Systems & Processes has the overall responsibility for delivering process excellence and digital procurement. To ensure that Procurement succeeds, we need to continuously evaluate and optimise the way we work to reduce complexity and make sure our colleagues can focus on the activities that add most value.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• be the single point of contact for management, sourcing managers and business partners in respect of all sourcing-related improvements, queries and issues
• be the process consultant who advises our colleagues on how best to apply our sourcing processes, systems, tools and data
• develop and prioritise a roadmap of initiatives that will make our sourcing processes simpler, more lean and effective as well as being the business lead in IT projects
• reinforce process governance, system adoption and data management and be the ‘gatekeeper’ in relation to customisation
• ensure that process documentation and onboarding material is up to date and applied to train and onboard colleagues in our way of sourcing.

 

Your competences include that you

• have moderate experience in the sourcing process, as a sourcing manager, process manager, product owner or management consultant
• have proven experience in leading complex development initiatives
• are structured in solving problems and handling business development
• are in your comfort zone in the interface between business and IT
• are a super-user of sourcing applications.

 

Furthermore, you have excellent communication and presentation skills. It’ll be considered an advantage if you’re lean-certified and project management-certified.

As you’ll be exposed to different management levels in the organisation, you must have strong verbal communication skills, and you must master the Microsoft Office package. Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must for the successful candidate.
